Try page 876 of the PDF manual, I believe that is what you are looking for.

I noticed cherry trees starting to bloom down the road today, they think winter is over.

Re: Winch advice
The wagons weigh less than 2500 lb as I remember. I always figure double the vehicle weight when considering winch size. I would say 4500 to 5000lb rated winch for our vehicles. 8000lb seems like it would be too large for the wagon.

Re: 1992 Camry 3VZ-FE rebuild!
I have worked on a couple 3vz-e engines in 90's 4runners & pick ups, that looks like a very different engine. Hope they designed the exhaust better on those.

I wonder how much that would help to keep the back window clean.

So peening the piston like that makes it tougher eh? Don't let the others know of this or everyone will want peened pistons.

Re: Head gasket blows, block has electrolysis spot
I put rags down in the cylinders to catch most of the dust & used my air body sander to level mine out. just made sure to keep it level & even across the whole deck when I did it. It has worked for 10 years like that.

Re: Is this gear the same through 83-88
Sounds like a bad bearing. Gears are usually eaten when a bearing goes bad and allows the shaft to flop around in there.

Petros, what is your method of checking the cv joint to see if it is bad on the new axle shaft?

Re: my turt needs a head-seattle
I dug it out of the shed, I knew I had one. Looks to be in good shape, took it off a running car with a blown transmission. I would like 50 for this one. I am in Monroe. It needs gasket scraped off of the bottom & the exhaust areas, otherwise pretty clean.

I am north of Seattle by an hour. That price for the rebuilt rack is a good one actually.

Re: How bad is this (steering rack/rods)?
Are you in Washington? I have a power steering rack out in the shed. Pulled it out of the parts car I had. Mine has a manual rack so I really don't need it.
