Re: WTB: Driver's Window Seal
Any luck with this Synth? Looks like I need to be on the hunt for any good window seals. Driver's side rear has a decent gap in it as well...

Re: Vinegar Method Of Cleaning Radiator & HOTTER HEAT ◄
I performed an extended vinegar flush over the weekend, even leaving the vinegar in the whole cooling system overnight. I still have three or four flush cycles with distilled water to complete before I button things back up, but some preliminary testing has brought the heat up from ~97*F to ~147*F. ...

Re: Parking brake adjustment
I recently adjusted my parking brake as well. The lock nut had loosened itself and was backed almost completely off its stud. I'm lucky it didn't decide to jump off the turnip truck and dive under the carpet pad or some other dark, sad ending. Got the handle tightened just before we had the multi-we...

Re: 80ish mph. Anyone else get er purring?
My carb is trash. Flat spots, dieseling, bogging, etc. That said, after a recent throttle cable adjustment I was able to (allegedly) get the old girl up to about 93 mph on a downhill. She'll do 70-80 all day at WOT, which is how she is usually driven, due to modern traffic speeds...

It's nice to see that not everyone who gains wealth and status is concerned about flaunting it. Gives me hope for humanity and the U.S. in general.

I'd be interested in a 5-pin wiper switch (adjustable intermittent switch would be a bonus).

Re: WTB: Front Windshield Washer Pump
I managed to luck out and there was a Tercel hatchback at the local yard. I nabbed both pumps, but I still need to test them. I will keep you in mind if they both fail the test.

Re: Wanted: Seat(s)
In Washington state they don't care what condition the car is in, as long as it's 30-years-old. I currently have two vehicles tagged as collectors with another three to follow when I register them to my name. I don't think there is an insurance discount in WA with the collector status, but you never...

Re: WTB: Front Windshield Washer Pump
From what I understand there are two pumps, each with a different electrical connector, so they cannot interchange.

Re: '84 WAGON REBUILD
This sort of suspension arm is done in the aftermarket all the time and are plenty strong for a 2,200 lb station wagon, having been designed to slide sideways in a 400+ bhp, 3,300 lb, AWD road car. Could go with the turnbuckle style: https://images.rallysportdirect.com/image/private/s--GVt19YRK--/f_...

Re: WTB: Front Windshield Washer Pump
Have you tried clearing the nozzles out? I blew out the hoses then swapped the hoses from the front pump to the rear. The front windshield washers work now.... When I press the button for the rear pump. Not really looking for a "universal" solution, just want an OEM front washer pump to r...
