Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?

I definitely have, me and my buddy had a hell of a time getting one out of his car... I can't remember how we ended up getting it out though.... I wanna say we used two prybars on opposite sides and both of us pushing at the same time for a while worked, I think we spun the axle a few times too, thi...

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?

Well that definitely makes me feel better Tom! I wish they would have had drivers side axles because I would've definitely bought one of those also! Edit: And from researching the Surtrack/Trakmotive axles it seems that they are new also. Well it says all of their axles are "built from the grou...

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?

Ohh yeah, they're on sale right now, the gsp ones, which they don't specify new or remans, but the passenger side was one $28 and some change, and then Surtrack/Trackmotive drivers and passengers side are a little less than $40 a piece, but none say whether they're new or remans, they don't ask for ...

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?

Ohh ok, I got you, my bad haha, but yeah thats what I meant! Ohh ok, I honestly didn't know that, makes me feel a little better now at least! There is definitely a good bit of rotational play in my passenger side axle, but the drivers side one seems to be alright for the time being, I'll probably bu...

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?

So, I checked out everything under my car today, and found two issues.. My passenger side output shaft seal is leaking a good bit, I've ordered new seals and while I was underneath I topped up my transmission fluid. I also noticed that my drivers side cv axle is really loose inside the transmission....

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?

Ewwww, that doesn't sound like fun!! Nothing bad happened though did it? I do have a sound coming from my front end, but I'm pretty sure its just my cv axle being noisy... Hopefully....

Re: Highest RPM achieved?

I usually shift at 4k also, I've went to 4.5k a couple times, I don't like the way it sounds either. When I had the silver wagon it would rev to 5k without sounding too bad. I don't know about any higher than that though hahaha.

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?

I'm not sure if pathetic would be the word I would use... I would use different or unique because it's not just another slammed BMW/350z/miata/etc, ya know? If someone pays $1500+ in suspension parts on a car that no one does that kind of stuff to then I wouldn't consider that a wannabe, I would con...

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?

So what your saying is that you pretty much have to know all of those measurements beforehand and you have to know what it would take to lay frame then. Thats what a lot of those mini truck have too, spark blocks or something like that is what I've them been called before. Yeah, there would definite...

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?

Preciate it man! I didn't know was any good at it, but my dad has always built stuff out of wood so I guess I learned some things even though I didn't know I did haha. Its kind of fun though honestly! t shouldn't be that hard to make a box for you air tank and stuff though!! But, I think I'm about t...

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?

So, I've been working my butt off on this $20 sub box.... Finally got it mostly done today, I still need to seal the wood, I may slightly burn the edges before sealing it, I'm not sure yet though. Anyway, heres my progress so far, I don't have any pictures of when I first got it, but it was a dual 1...

Re: Late Night Thoughts.....

Hahahaha, yeah probably so, but I'm from Alabama, and they're pretty chill on the laws. My argument would've been that if these guys can sit in a truck bed, then why can't I sit back here? haha, but we passed a sheriff and he just nodded his head at me, so apparently they don't care too much haha. I...
