Open oil gallery plug
My car is a Toyota Tercel 1987 DX Wagon with 3A engine.
I have noticed a open oil gallery plug at the rear aspect (covered by the bell housing) of the engine block.
There is a small oil leak in the engine.
Could it be the cause?
Should I add a plug to it?

Re: Middle fork shift shaft doesnt move.
I have finely observed the movements. I kept the 1st and 3rd shafts in neutral position and tried to move the middle one. Then it can be moved. My guess and the Mr. petros advice were correct. There is a interconnection in between the shafts that is hidden in between the shafts. My guess was due to ...

Re: Middle fork shift shaft doesnt move.
Problem is that it moves few milimeters. That is not enough for even to move the fork. Those gears were working before I disassemble it.

Engine rear end plate with just one bolt?
My car is a Toyota Tercel 1987 DX Wagon. When I disassemble the engine, one out of two 5mm bolts that connect the rear end plate to the engine block, was broken. Broken portion was 2mm deep inside the cavity. I pierced the broken part with a 3mm drill bit and inserted a screw extractor to remove it....

I want to confirm that since arc welded spots are not strong as gas welded spots, whether would that can bear the strength needed for frame. I arc welded a metal handle for my household...

Arc or Gas welding suitable for chassis repair
My car is a Toyota Tercel 1987 DX Wagon. I have found some wide apart bottom chassis bars. One that connects the rear lower arm. Perhaps they may have disconnected from the interconnecting longitudinal main bars. Or near to disconnect. Still cannot be clearly visible due to undercoating. Will scratc...

Re: Huge engine oil leak over the transmission
What a knowledge you have Mr. Petros ! Certainly it was the case. I observed the plug at the rear aspect of the head and it was missing. Possible I had some works with transmission bolts and wrench could have pushed it. Thank you Mr. Petros. Thank you all for your valuable advises since all suggeste...
