Re: 85 For parts in yard

I don't have pictures of either of these options, unfortunately.

Re: TVSV and drivability

Petros, what are the search terms you've used to find them in the past? Part numbers, key words? yes, both. Toyota TVSV turns up a lot of the newer types, both the two port type (like above) and the newer ones with an eletrical connectors. I also searched the part number I got from a web site with ...

Re: 85 For parts in yard

If it has the adjustable intermittent wipers or cruise control, I'd be interested in those parts.

Does your blue strut bar clear the factory air cleaner? Willing to sell me that modified MR2 bar?

Re: Air Conditioning Coil Resistance

Are you sure the system is fully charged? No I'm not, but I'd rather run through the A/C troubleshooting tree in order before I take the car to a shop with gauges. Could be as simple as a failed pressure switch. If the first branch of the TS tree comes up without a solution, the next step is to che...

Re: Air Conditioning Coil Resistance

Got the dash apart last night and the A/C switch and thermistor both ohm out no problems, but I didn't do the ice water test on the thermistor because I couldn't figure out how to remove it. Next up is the A/C amplifier...

Re: Air Conditioning Coil Resistance

Is there a typical failure point in the A/C system? A soft or hard line that normally fails? My Tercel has lived a pretty gentle life with parts seeming to just have worn out, not having failed due to damage or misuse.

Air Conditioning Coil Resistance

Background: A/C does nothing when you hit the switch, nothing from the clutch. Following the troubleshooting tree in the FSM, I checked the fuse and it is fine. Next up is the clutch coil resistance... The FSM says that you should see about 3.7 ohms at 68*F. It was about 60*F in my garage when I too...

WTB: Driver's Window Seal

Mine is starting to fall every time I lower the window glass and allows a pretty hefty shower of water after being parked in a heavy rain. Let me know what you've got!

They are mounted on the PS strut tower with vacuum inputs on the bottom and electrical connectors on the top.

What sort of condition are the front seat belts in?

I'd be interested in:

Tilt meter

wiper switch, if it works on all settings
what color is the interior?

Re: unhappy with 80w-90 gear oil

I tried gl4 once, 6 months later the front differential gears were broken. I have no idea whether or not gl4 had anything to do with it. Not sure if I will try that again I have a another tranny/differential that has 435,000 miles on it using gl5 and it still shifted just fine. Brand, weight, milea...
