If you do end up lowering the engine and trans, don't wait too long. Once your front cv axles wear in, they will not like to run at a different angle. I put 20,000km on a set and then when I dropped the engine/trans they made quite a bit of whining noise on the highway.

I recently did a bunch of work on my rear sway bars. The end link mount bolt snapped on me so I welded a bolt on there. I got new bushings for it from Rockauto. They only had bushings for the end links though.

I agree that lifting the tercel to go off roading never ends well. I like it lifted for a bit of extra clearance and so you can run 14's. I got some high heat JB weld. It's a stick of putty with 2 layers (epoxy and hardener) and you break off what you need and knead it with your hands then plop it on. It did not work.
