Re: Wanted: several spare parts
This tank is no longer being manufactured, so finding a new one is a worthwhile investment.

It's $7500 now. Sure looks rust free. Too bad it's an auto.

Robert Walker gives a great description of making your own over axle pipe with a few ready made 90 degrees.

Re: Can 2WD Fuel pick up assembly work in 4WD?
It does bolt up to the 4WD tank. The 2WD pick up is too short to reach the bottom of the tank, and also, the external pipes are oriented in a totally different direction that can't be corrected by a simple bend. I guess, in a pinch, splatterdog's suggestion would work. Longer hoses could be added to...

Re: Can 2WD Fuel pick up assembly work in 4WD?
Well, I ordered one from a local parts store. Since it is still available, I'm going to give it a shot and update this post.

I can find a new to buy and am willing to risk bending the pipes to make it fit. Has anyone been success...

Re: 1983 T4WD car plus massive parts
Wow, I thought I had lots of spare parts and cars! I've lost track of how many have passed through my hands, drivers or parts cars, but it's in the double digits. Have seven right now, 4 drive-able /insurable (two of them rust free imports and two winter cars) and 3 parts cars. Good luck with the sa...

Re: Another Brake Issue
Before you try adjusting the rear brakes, you need to back off the emergency brakes at the handle. If it is too tight, the brake levers will be partially applied at the wheels and your brakes will feel spongy. This is because the shoes aren't in full contact at the wheel cylinders. You also must mak...

Cool, thanks. They look like they are neoprene. Is that correct?
