i was thinking same thing i think of putting a amber cob led panel inside of thin light next to head light with side marker and headlight halo all amber led but blinks with turn switch with the rain and over cast here in winter i like the idea of safety lights on even with light switch off. jimcrazy the hid is huge improvement but housings not as good as my friends hella e-code may return these for them. (twice as much $$) I tried led in rear and seemed to only have a small bright center on red and brighter red center with brake on returned them as the regular 1157 lights up all the en...

A friend upgraded to led and gave me his hid lights. so i just installed 7x6 housings with amber led ()around the projector. a 6" led light bar where the turnsignal went wired the side marker to be turn signal. not quite done but here is snap shot of headlights w/ led http://i304.photobucket.co...

at work we have a large steel parts washer it uses oil based solvent so it wont rust out. water based solvent best with stainless or plastic. we also have a ultrasonic what is real cool is you can put part in a plastic bag with brand new solvents seal the bag then throw it in come back after a while...
