I seem to remember they are the same size as the rears. I have a spare set on the shelf at home, I can double check if you want. Or just remove the front side panel covers and look for yourself, only 3 screws holds it on, as I recall.

you did check your brake fluid level didn't you? sometimes the light bleed-over makes it look like more than one light is on at the same time. There is a float in the master cylinder that turns on the brake light when the fluid is low.

yup, all '83-'86 Tercels used the same engine, the 3A or 3AC, and all are almost exactly the same. Also, the same year corollas used the almost identical 4AC. Engine parts are plentiful and easy to get.
