Not mine. I was searching for Tercel parts and found this. Should just need a battery from the sounds of it. I dont think this guy knows too much about car maintenance. Clean no rust, 2wd 5spd.

WTB: 5th gear shift fork
Just rebuilt my five speed and took it for a test drive last week, well she won't stay in fifth. After consulting with the transmission shop that I purchased the parts from, the problem has been narrowed down to either the slider or the fork. The tranny shop has a good used slider, all I need is the...

Re: New to the forum.
Dlb,
Yeah, I've seen that forum. A lot of those guys do engine off coasting and accelerate like a snail in mud to acheive it. I would be very happy with 40mpg. Especially since I only have a 10 mile commute.

Re: New to the forum.
Dlb, I was contemplating the same thing just haven't done it yet. I hope with the diff swap and new clutch I will be able to hit 40mpg. Turtcel, The 2wd has the front half of the 4wd transmission, so changing the front diff is a little time consuming; but after reading on here that the later trannys...

Hi All, My name is Chris and I own a wonderful '83 2wd 3 door hatchback Tercel. I purchased her for $400 from my university's auto program 2 years ago. She was sort of my graduation gift to myself, I graduated from that aforementioned auto program. She had 94k miles on her, and now has just under 13...

Re: Headlight Upgrades...TURTCEL
I used Pilot's replacement housings, that use 9003 bulbs. They're only 30 bucks on amazon. I've been running these for about a year now with no issues. All you need is slightly longer bolts cause the housings are thicker where the bezel holds it to the cup. The lenses are plastic, like the headlight...

Re: need to buy a carburetor
For what its worth, mine did the same thing at cold startup. All cause the choke was set improperly after I rebuilt it. The white smoke was raw fuel being sprayed out the exhaust as a mist. It would burn my eyes and lungs. All I did was adjust the choke and all is well.
