Sounds like everyone in Portland needs to get some kill switches installed ASAP. there have been a few stolen there the last few years

some sort of splashguard might help stop water being driven into the hole?

Agree with David. Take heaps of photos of your stock parts car. When I went back to factory carb I put one car next to another and took one hose off at a time and replaced it in the same place on the swapped car.

They rolled that Tercel a while back - no injuries but are rebuilding the car now it seems.

Went back to rebuilt stock. much more drivable. no flatspots in acceleration. similar power tbh.

G'day David, great to see that you are back in the game! I forgot to ask. do they salt the roads there? I still have my alltrac and its been used in a few TV ads of late which pays about $1,000 a day. So its' paying for itself! most of my time is taken with my Vanagon though these days. Matt
