Re: About to die? Heal yourself....
I've got a 1/2 hour workout routine I try to get to 2xs a week...just using hand weights and maybe 30 "sets"...keeps the joints flexible and the strength up. I just bought a new/used book called The Slow Burn Fitness Revolution...Hahn and Eades and Eades. They claim only 1/2 hour needed pe...

Re: About to die? Heal yourself....
I see some improvement from using the buffered C vs the acid...usually don't get colds to any great extent...but I take other vitamins also. Interesting thing about the liposomal C is that it is even more effective than IV C (intravenous). Various phyto extracts can also be used other than the C...o...

You can make your own lysomal vit c using lecithin and vit c powder....otherwise it's expensive. I take 2G / day of C but had to go with calcium ascorbate to avoid intestinal issues. Probably almost pointless to post stuff like this...hard enough to get myself to do something new...let alone someone...

Re: noisy speedometer in very cold weather
Thanks for that link, I didn't find it previously with a search on speedometer (should have tried "speedo" - are you all Aussies?). My old Jeep developed this type of "speedo" problem with squealing noise and pegged needle at road speed, even in mild weather. I took that all apa...

About to die? Heal yourself....
http://www.naturalnews.com/034646_vitamin_C_encapsulated_mega_dose.html An earlier internet story that went viral featured the saga of a New Zealand man, Alan Smith, in a coma on life support for nine weeks. Yet he walked out of the hospital after 13 days of intense vitamin C treatments. What's surp...

WOW ! And to think that my G-kids' friends chortle at 71-year old moi with my looong ponytail and flowered Vans! And of course they snicker at Goldie. I think I'll send your photo to the daughters and G-kids, with the note that " All of us T4WD guys are getting this 'do instead of a secret han...

Anyway it is almost 100% excluded to see any nuke in this part of world. There is just nothing to take over or where to "bring democracy" (no offence USA guys) Are you sure you people don't have oil or gas? Shale deposits? We just love oil and gas. "Democracy" is just icing on t...

Re: Need new springs
Unless you run off road a lot....look here under my raincoat....for $30 I can set you up with some doughnuts. You get stiffer suspension...better cornering and braking...and with the slightly lower stance of sagging springs....better handling. Not to mention cheaper. Put the saved $ into some 14&quo...

Re: where to camp in and around redwood forests?
I was afraid to camp under them...but the ranger said they had been there for a LONG TIME. But I noticed that the ranger's house was in an open area. Best bet would be backpacking trips into some of the remoter groves. Not a lot of the big redwoods left....many controlled by county and state?...

I've done this kind of work on the cheap. You do need something solid to pull on...I once used a 6x6 fence post to pull from...to the point that the other side of the car was almost off the ground. HOW? By carefully placing a 4x4 near where the chain or cable is pulling from on the stationary object...

It's interesting - especially since he is under an ancient car without safety glasses - and drilling into metal as well. Dumb. Been there, done that - and visited the ER with ? in my eye; bigga bucks and even bigger scare. Actually, in my case, I was wearing good safety glasses - but the ? lodged i...

Though Scotty is just full of energy...it's a wonder he's still with us? Getting under a car with just a trolly jack under it is a NO-NO. These ALL lose hydraulic oil over time and just when you least expect it they will go up all right...and then when you are under the car they can also GO DOWN. Ot...
