I don't think I've EVER seen a two-tone silver, looks surprisingly nice. Wish one of our silvers was a two-tone like that.

I have to many cars and need to sell this one. It is a very dependable car. The 4x4 works great. It needs some TLC but would make somebody a good car. The miles are all original miles.

Re: "Buck" or "Nightmare" or "Cranky"
"nightmare" was brought up for a name option not as much for the trip but for the horse named after it. "Nightmare": a black horse with flaming mane/tail/hooves/etc. Since Paul was thinking Buck was too masculine for her.

Re: Bucking / Bogging / Stuttering at speed
Only seems to do it at highway speed at greater than 60, usually near 3K rpm. cruising at lower speeds in town seems fine.

She's still at it. If while she's doing it and we put put the clutch in, she bogs and dies. If started back up, she'll sputter and recover if you give her ample gas. Still need to check the distrubuter, we haven't had time to do that yet. Just had a scare on the freeway thinking the engine was smoki...

Posting for paul,
Can't get the crankshaft pully bolt off, he's already snapped several of our poor sockets trying! Is it reverse thread or or it just suck on there THAT tight? Any advice to get it off.

Re: 1987 Deluxe in Logan, UT $6,900
We have a metallic "brown" one that has 60K miles and a blown engine so we were curious what it would be valued at once repaired, we got her for 350$. From what we've seen from ebay and other sales they can go upwards of 3.5~K in the right market. The asking price in that ad is indeed high...

Exterior looks frumpy from his not repainting it after getting the rust off, but the interior looks good from the small amount you can see.

Re: Swingset fun
We did notice it was quite wobbly. I actually recall a segment in the "FAQ" of the instructions saying something tot he tune of Q: The playset wobbles of moves freely. A: The ground is not level and the set is improperly squared. Seriously, that was their excuse. I already had plans to rei...

Re: The bone yard
 GROSS now i'm impaired for life! Haha, sorry! I just noticed the strange splatter on the headliner like Pokey has, I joked calling it that with her... though I'm sure it's just random splash from something else. I never drink coffee so I'm not sure how someone could splash a mess up there, ...

Re: The bone yard
The headliner scares me on that tercel.. It looks like arterial blood spray on the driver's side! How do people get things on the headliner? I've never managed to figure that out short of kids throwing crap around.

Interesting house by the way. I've never seen that style up here. I like the rounded edges. -Almost art deco. It's "art stucco". I hate the ugly housing here! I miss my cement basements and pitched roofing! Coming from east canada to this makes these houses feel like slums to me. I mean.....
