just did a quick search on a few toyota parts site and says discontinued part,,will pull the bearings and see if they cross over to a timken number

i still have my old crown gear on the shelf,will post some pics of the carrier tomorrow

mine was not leaking but a had a small vibration that came and went when the axle would get whipping around

if those bearing were loose enough to move around the crown gear and pinion would be noisy and whining,

there is no bearing to support the axle,it runs in the carrier housing,i replaced the crown gear and carrier in mine last summer you could wiggle the axle around and the hole were the axle goes in was worn about .01 larger out close to the seal,the tapered bearings inside support the carrier housing.

the drive shaft u-joints are replaceable.use a neapco 1-0430 or a rockford 430-10,direct fit no mods required,check the center of your steady bearing i have had the center bearing holder separate from the rubber,will give you play

i have 1"strut spacers in the front and monroe ma700 air shocks on the rear,wheels have 195-70-14 tires,rides great handles well,run 20 psi in the shocks,put on between 500-800 miles a week in the summer months

couple of pics,where the rotor button should be when installed,also after installing the the dizzy turn the rotor button by hand and make sure the mechanical advance is working,,it should spring back on its own if not it is seized up and will need to be freed up

i picked this up for 5 bucks at value village,see if i can get it to work some time this winter

i will never catch you,,,this afternoon last run before i park her for the winter

i use the fwd mount,just have to cut one side off the 4wd mount and weld it back on to the fwd mount.rockauto has the fwd mounts for like 10 bucks
