Bulk Purchase of Vacuum line

I have small vacuum leaks in a couple of places and would like to replace all of my vacuum line. I remember reading a thread where another member did the same thing and I think the length of hose was 14'. Is that correct?

Re: i have some parts to unload

I can attach a picture. My FWD doesn't have the plastic tray that sits atop the transmission tunnel. I have just the gearshift and ebrake

Re: '86 FWD path to daily driver

While I'm waiting for my paint to arrive and the bumpers are off, I've been cleaning. Headlamp assembly was removed and repainted along with the grill & headlamp bezel. The battery box was in sad shape. The 3 bolts at the bottom were rusted out and difficult to remove. I soaked them then hammere...

Re: i have some parts to unload

Do you have a pic? My drivers seat has some tears and I was just going to get a cover. I can pick them up. Also, do you happen to have a center console?

Re: '86 FWD path to daily driver

I've had the bumpers off for 2 weeks working on removing all of the bumper stickers. Once I finished carefully peeling & scraping, I wet sanded one grade every evening (220, 400 etc) Now that it's time to paint, I can't catch a break with the weather: too cold, too rainy, etc. Wish I had a bigge...

Re: '86 FWD path to daily driver

I'm south of Seattle in Tacoma For the clear coat, I will be using Eastwoods clear after I use up the rest of my Griots polish. I used their series on my MG and it saved me a new paint job. I've tried it in a couple of areas on the hood and there doesn't seem to be much damage yet to the color. The ...

'86 FWD path to daily driver

I had been looking for a 3rd gen 4Runner for months without much luck when I came across a '86 wagon with only 90k. Same owner for 25 years, second owner was their neighbor who parked it under a tree for about 4 years and rarely drove it. Filthy and a street parking sideswipe to clean up. Clear coat...

Re: Confirm # for fuel sending

It was a NOS listed on eBay several weeks ago and it arrived last week. It came with the replacement gasket and replacement screws. Cost with shipping was about $50 and I have a working fuel gauge!

I am interested in a center console. Plastic tray and surround gear shift inbetween front seats. Also, the side access panel door in the back.

Using Toyota OEM 50/50 coolant?

With Hondas, general consensus is to follow recommended guidelines and use only Honda coolant. Certainly there were those who found the price too high and used store brand. When I searched, most of you don't mention a brand specifically. But it does seem that everyone is quite religious about checki...

Re: Confirm # for fuel sending

Thank you, I found the thread and have already spent a couple evenings with the sender on my bench. Fuel gauge and low fuel light are operational but the sender is inconsistent even with good connectivity. I had a 1968 Toyota Stout with a bad sender and with this project I'm a little impatient. I th...

Confirm # for fuel sender

Hi, I'm looking to replace my fuel sending assembly; the entire unit and I'm not sure I'm interpreting the diagrams correctly. Is this the correct part number: 83320 19875? I have an '86 FWD DLX wagon with 90k miles I would prefer to replace the existing unit with a new part instead of rebuilding or...

Re: front door window mechanisim repair

Duct tape is holding the window up - in its closed position. The glass is taped to the door frame in a cross hatch because the regulator was broken in some way. I disassembled all but two bolts, I believe based on the image in this thread. Once I get the replacement regulator, It sounds like I need ...
