Pics of under the hood? Suspension and interior would be nice. Does the seller still have the original factory alloys?

Re: seat and upholstery (seat cover) removal

Once I have enough for my car and Bryan Thompson's project. The remainder of the fabric will be up for sale. The fabric will be sold in 30 cm wide linear yards. Final price is $125 per linear yard, unfortunately higher than I wanted, but I got hit with import Duties and Taxes to get it into the coun...

Re: Door hinge repair

Does anyone have a valid part number for a door hinge pin/bushing repair kit that works for our cars? Rock Auto doesn't list one specific to the Tercel, but has a plethora of "universal" kits. :/

Re: A brief history of the Toyota MR2, 1985-2005

Nice, I recently scored a set of MR2 alloys from a pick n pull, the doner car had a remarkably well preserved interior, those were some good looking buckets. Can't believe that car has been around so long and I just learned the MR stood for Midship Runabout.

Re: seat and upholstery (seat cover) removal

There's noting quite like waking up to a voicemail from Scotland.... I finalized design details and specs on Terc II Reproduction Blue Upholstery. The fabric will be a 16 oz. Worsted Wool plaid, color matched and size matched to the OEM plaid. The 16 oz wool is a finer/smoother fabric than the origi...

Re: seat and upholstery (seat cover) removal

Got some samples from Scotland today, the sample in the background was provided so I could compare the fabric weight, the other samples were for color. They don't have an exact match for Toyota colors, so I'm going to have to pay for custom dye. :/. The price keeps going up, but I'm making progress....

Re: seat and upholstery (seat cover) removal

I only had the sample of the blue to send to the mill for matching. So at this time only the blue will be reproduced. I'll let you know when I have prices.

Re: seat and upholstery (seat cover) removal

Just a quick update to this, I couldn't use the last known OEM upholstery and leave all the other enthusiasts with no supply. So I am currently working with a textile mill in Scotland to have the Blue Plaid brought back from the brink of extinction. A 2' section of this fabric was sent to the Textil...
