Did it not go through? I’ll try again.
EDIT: Apparently it didn’t. That’s annoying. Re-sent it. Thanks again!

Re: Committed cardinal sin...
Just send it as is. No need to do any extra work, especially if the bearing is still good. Looking through boxes of parts on a weekend is enough done on my behalf, and I’m deeply grateful. Thank you Petros.

Re: extra mini exhaust pipe on 85 4wd
It looks like Petros has the answer above: it is just a fresh air inlet, intake end is left open under the alternatior, the other goes though a reed valve camber (hangs near the bellhousing), and than goes into the side of the catalytic converter. The intake end looks like it should connect to somet...

Re: extra mini exhaust pipe on 85 4wd
If I’m not mistaken, I think it goes to the reed assembly, circled in red. Pretty sure the pipe to the cat is the one circled on blue. The full page is also shown with no markings. Does any of this look familiar?

Unfortunately, that isn’t the one you’re looking for. I’m not the owner of a AL25 Tercel (4wd) but I’m pretty sure you’re looking for a BeckArnley 201-1291, Toyota part number 89428-15030.

Gluten free bread would probably work. Not much good for anything else, as I don’t consider it suitable for human consumption...HA!

Pilot bearing removal...with (virtually) no mess.
I stumbled across another method of removing the clutch pilot bearing where clean up just requires a broom. Unless you do it outside, then you just feed the birds like Hansel and Gretel. That's right, I'm talking about baked goods. As has been discussed using wet paper towels or grease, this method ...

Committed cardinal sin...
As the title suggests, I totally screwed up and committed the cardinal sin of car repair. I assumed. Upon removal of engine and ordering of a new clutch, I assumed that the release bearing and hub were one assembly. I doubled down on my stupidity and didn’t compare new and old either. Boy, was I on ...

Rear engine plate/bellhousing plate seal
Howdy all! I'm finally getting my engine ready to install in my '81 Tercel and realized that in the past 37 years the seal (circled in red) has gone missing. First question is how necessary is it? And the follow-up: If so, where can I find one?

Re: 83 SR5 got some problems need input
Most head gasket kits include valve stem seals, but if you’re just getting the head gasket, rockauto has both the seals and the valves(int & exh). As far as replacing them, that’s something I’ve not done. You’ll need a valve spring compressor to compress the valve springs. But you’ll have to rem...

Re: Need Electrical Question Answered
The wire may have too much resistance, resulting in the current to the radio being reduced to the point of not being able to power on. You’ve got the voltage, but you may not have the amperage. Could be caused by corrosion, broken wire strands, terminals that are corroded, etc. Finding the cause is ...

Affirmative. Reversing polarity on most electric motors will do precisely that. Now, you're heating or cooling the outside using air from your cabin.

Re: Water pump bypass leaking
I may have found a source at https://partsouq.com/en/search/all?q=1626815011 You can also put in your VIN and look through the Toyota catalog, pictures and all. I ordered this myself on Saturday. It was shipped earlier today from Dubai fedex and will be here Thursday. EDIT: It was only 10.93 to ship...
