Re: Transmission and differential drain plugs
the longer one actually holds part of the shift linkage in place, DO NOT REMOVE IT, when changing the oil So that's what it's for! My trans is out right now as I'm replacing all the seals, clutch, plugs, etc. while I'm doing the 7AGE swap and removed all the 24mm plugs one at a time to see which co...

Re: Transmission and differential drain plugs
Nice find and suggestions! Thanks! There are two 24mm on the diff, two 24mm on the trans as drains, and either three or four 24mm on the sides of the trans as fill or other checks. I say "three or four" on the sides of the trans because there is on on top of the trans that holds down a sp...

These are the Toyota part numbers for longer magnetic plugs for drains and shorter non-magnetic plugs for side/fill. ...

Re: HUMBLE BEE BRAKE UPGRADE
EDIT: If you want something done, you gotta do it yourself. Did you ask him directly? I actually happen to be the proud new owner of both of LeeBiews tercs as of earlier this year so I could probably confirm what are on it! I did not, I went searching and found them by process of elimination. The t...

Re: HUMBLE BEE BRAKE UPGRADE
Last I talked to him was in December, and he's still been driving it... Did you try just straight asking him "What calipers are you using?" EDIT: If you want something done, you gotta do it yourself. The calipers are off of the 1988-1989 ST165 Celica GT-Four/All-Trac (US)/Turbo 4WD (Canad...

WOWZA! That's definitely the motherload of bushings lol... Have you gotten around to installing them all? I haven't gotten around to installing any of them. Between one set needing to be made, shipping times from AUS, and COVID popping up they didn't get here until Texas began it's non-stop 100+F d...

Super Pro Front Sway Bar Mount Bushing Kit While driving around town I noticed that there was be a loud metal-on-metal sound while going through large dips. I pulled over and took a look under the car and immediately noticed that my sway bar bushings were shot. OEM bushings were out of the question...

Re: The Definitive List of Ways to Lift a Tercel 4wd
While I haven't installed my lift yet as I am in the midst of a 7AGE swap, I bought ACDelco brand since I couldn't find Moog either. If you're insistent on Moog, try ordering them from Summit Racing. I've ordered some rare OEM replacement parts from them and while they took awhile not being in stock...

Re: Autoblog.com Super Rusty T4wd find
Only 123k on the clock and by the look of everything but the body likely mechanically sound. As an 83 owner I want pretty much everything from the transmission back, but the quote about it being photographed last winter tells me it's all gone.

The outers are just marked power or not, while the inners are the only ones listed with length.
