Nice pics!
Hope you have better luck with the air lines now. Were they leaking from getting bumped or something?
I see you are still running mufflerless.

Never had offers for my tercel. I've talked to a few people who have one/had one and liked them.
I used to get regular interest in my 68 plymouth fury when I used to drive it.

I need to do some of the same work to mine and more.
I notice you have the Predator GTS tires. Me too! I got 205/70/14's
What size are yours?

I run 205/70/14 tires and have put in about 1.5 inches of lift. I get slight rubbing at full turning lock and no rubbing on bumps. I used to get rubbing on bumps before the lift, but rubber donut spring boosters helped a bit. My speedo is exactly 10% out. So when my speedo says 100kmh I am actually ...

The easiest mod for lowering is to switch the strut assembly from a sedan or hatchback. It is exactly the same strut tube but 1inch shorter.

I did a 2 inch lift. New springs in the front made up some of the lift and for the rest I modified some rubber spring donuts that are supposed to be weaved into the coils but I found a way to make them go above the front strut and above and below the rear springs. I'll have to do a write up someday ...

My terc has the yucky brown interior, like the pic you posted, but Ive switched the steering wheel, carpet, seats and door panels for grey ones so it's not so pukey looking all over the interior. And my glove box door latch is bent like that too. Is that really common or what?

I find the easiest way to get out of 4wd is to take my foot off the gas for a moment and let the car coast in gear for a second and then shift out of 4wd. My instinct was always to use the clutch as if I'm changing gears. It was alwasy a pain to shift to 2wd but without the clutch it goes easier, us...

My tercel always starts best when you give the gas a pump before turning the key. I think it's an old car thing in my case. What I want to know is what causes dieseling, when the car tries to keep running after you turn it off. It seems to happen when my oil is getting low so my engine must be a bit...

I take it you are in Calgary. Well that's where I live seasonally, when I'm not living and working in Banff. If you ever saw an orange tercel around town, that's me. I just finished putting in about 1.5 inch lift in my tercel front and back followed by new 205/70/14 tires. That's after replacing the...

I just measured mine.
10 3/4 inches in front
12 in the back

When I get my hands on a digicam I'll post pics with the new tires (205/70/14) and explain how I did the lifting.

I have an orange Tercel. It's been suggested to me to do the 01 on the doors for a general lee effect. Then I heard about someone with an old Datsun who did this and got pulled over by the cops a lot. I guess it just says to cops "I'm a trouble maker, pull me over". And with the nazi cops ...

I have run a couple of different non stock wheel sets on my tercel. My winter tires on 13" rims seem to have a negative offset and stick out a bit more. My 14" rims have 205/70/14's and are obviously a bit wide for the car. I have never noticed any issues with handling and cornering except...
