Re: Looking to buy a 4WD in good working condition

The best safety feature in your car is paying attention to yourself and EVERYONE else on the road that is trying to kill you(my motorcycle rule). Also, it's hard to beat the visibility in a Tercel wagon. Add a panorama rear view mirror, now you have nearly a 360 degree view with only a glance. https...

In this community, I would give it a .5

The engine in my #4 will be moving me from 2.5 fully roadworthy to 3.

And adding another Icehawk.

At least 13!!!

I feel like an amateur at 7. At least I'm at 4 runners right now, soon to be 3 fully roadworthy.

Hey Splatterdog, Getting ready for this year's Meet & Greet in northern Arkansas in a month, but hoping to be in Michigan next year. If you took the car ferry at Manitowoc, WI, to Ludington, MI, it would be a shorter drive. I would love to see your fishing rig! Chris Have to wait and see. Summe...

Re: Rear Springs & 14" tires?!? (it's been talked about Over & over)

If you want some beefier springs along with height, Pathfinders are the obvious choice. If you want to retain the OE ride go with rubber spacers that are designed to go between coils but put them all the way on top. Some cutting to match the spring diameter is all that's needed. Along with the wrest...

JIS screwdrivers

Long overdue post here. If you have Asian vehicles and equipment you need these. For too long I wondered why my my phillips never really seemed to fit well. Several years ago I was enlightened by a technician forum on what I thought was a simple right tool for the job choice. They also work great on...

Looks great! MR2 triangles are also my favorite wheel, except for snow packing..

Re: New ole number seven, sadly he's getting put down.

Great find! I wonder if it was listed under the "auto parts" section on Craigslist? That's how I found mine for $500. It wasn't running so the owner listed it in the parts section (which also avoids Craigslist's $5 fee for cars). Could be. I always use the search box on the main page. Eve...
