Re: How to remove the instrument control panel?

Re: eBay '86 SR5 Portland OR
even with the small pics of the car and the lack of detail, you could still see the car was no prize peach. there's a dent on the rear hatch, the rubber around the plastic piece on the hatch is falling out, the seats are all really worn...i think that if this car had been on craigslist it would have...

DJ, you can cut holes in the plastic trim in the cargo area to mount speakers back there. i've seen tercs at wreckers with more speakers mounted there. just make sure you have enough depth clearance so the speaker can sit properly.

Re: Proud T4WD owner from Norway
i never noticed that question. yes there is a tiny light bulb back there, right behind the heater control panel. i can't remember but i think you have to remove some of the dash trim before you can get that panel off, and the light is not super common. i had to go to a few stores to find one small e...

don't worry, there isn't usually a definitive cause behind disrhythmias. they're usually caused by an electrical anomaly in the heart. under normal circumstances, there is a 'pacemaker' cell that starts the chain reaction of the heart contraction. during disrhythmias, other cells fire and start the ...

Re: The car is on hold.......
yeah, if your heart is beating way too quick the chambers in it won't have time to fill completely with blood. they then contract and push out only a fraction of what they're supposed to, which results in the low blood pressure. best thing to do while waiting for emergency services in those situatio...

you were being taken away for the rapture until those pesky paramedics intervened!
disrhythmias are actually quite common in all ages of people and either resolve spontaneously (like yours did), with medication, or with defibrillation. take it easy but don't sweat it. best wishes.

ron is a dignified name! no, i'm joking. i think it's one of those silly generic old man names, like sam and bill. sorry to all rons, sams, and bills out there.
as for ironic or iconic, i'll go one step further and suggest ICONOCLASTIC. god, what a great word, and very fitting in this case.

yes, i love the two-tone as well. i have seen a few out here like that but they are the older first gen T4 and are usually two shades of brown. still rad though. i'd like to do something similar in black and electric blue, although that would likely look way too sporty for such a slug. at least ron'...

Re: rear tailshaft housing seal & tranny fluid flush
the spilled gear oil had less to do with what i was using and more to do with this being my first time ever doing a trans flush. and had i been smarter at the time, i would have taken a clean 4 L oil jug, cut the bottom off of it, threaded the hose extension onto it, and used that as a funnel. that'...
