Just did a dry install and my 14” steel wheels do not clear them, so I will need to get some 15” rims eventually
Everything else worked flawlessly. I used a wrench to bend the dust shield back enough so it can still shield but clear the larger rotor

Re: Corolla brake upgrade
One of my calipers is going out so I’m going to do the front caliper conversion on mine. I’ll let you all know how it goes but does anyone want my drilled, slotted, plated rotors and ceramic pads off this current setup?
Will sell for cost of shipping + $10 since they have maybe 1000 miles on them

Re: Transmission stuck
Well I have driven through deep water so maybe it has leaked in
I disassembled my trans so I know what they mean when they say the compartment is separate (very weird though)
Mine was dry and full of graphite powder when I removed the top to it. But I guess I need a new shift boot

Re: Transmission stuck
Haha thanks guys I replaced all the seals on it and have only put about 3000 miles on it since I did that in 2015, I do keep it outside though and I’m pretty sure the shift boot was replaced too It has all new oil in it but would the water have gotten in to the actual shifter column? The shift bushi...

Transmission stuck
I parked my car on Wednesday when I left for Arizona and I came back to below freezing temps here. I left it in first gear and when I went to leave for work this morning it’s stuck in first
is that just because of the low temps? I had to take my other car and driving it around slowly didn’t fix it

Re: Front / rear axle diff gaskets
front and rear gaskets for the diff are not the same at all. front has a cover, on an alloy case with an irregular shape. rear is the third member assembly that bolts to a stamped metal housing with a round shape. I would be surprised if you can find them new. you may have to make them, or revert t...

Fuel sending unit
So I came across this today
https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 49628.html
It says it's for our year range, I'm not sure of the price but you will probably have to order in bulk to get a good price on them
This is for Toyota OEM part number 83320-19875

Front / rear axle diff gaskets
Has someone found part numbers for the front and rear differential gaskets? I need to pull my rear axle and I would like to put an actual gasket on it. So far I found these: https://www.carid.com/fel-pro/differential-cover-gasket-mpn-rds27411.html?singleid=1208245125&url=93622014 for the rear ax...

CV axle interior bearings
