Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?
That's what I had thought it was at first. Upon further inspection the inner boot at popped off and all the grease is everywhere. When the sway bar bracket came off, the tire flew back and the cv knocked pretty hard on the body. There is no audible noise whatsoever from the cv while at full lock in ...

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?
Something happened alright. I think the joint on the axel closest to the transmission toasted itself. I brought it home yesterday to look at it and it just drove like absolute hell on the way home. It shakes really hard only under load. I'm hoping it is just the cv, nothing else looked out of whack.

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?
Just a friendly reminder to keep an ear out to anything that doesn't sound right on your tercs. Posting this as I am currently stranded awaiting a tow truck because my sway bar bracket fell off.

Re: Stereo solution?
I remember a similar solution for my old Celica that involved a portable cd player and computer speakers back in the day, was tons better than the nothing that I had, lol. Haha. Glad I wasn't the only one doing that back then. I did get a bit more creative and took the cases off the speakers and mo...

Re: Quick update
That's about what they do. They have been sitting in my hot ass garage for quite awhile. Original toyota rims but the tires are miss matched and have some heat cracks.

Re: Rack and Pinion internal play?
That's what I'm saying. I'm hoping it's alright and I have nothing to worry about. I drove it today and it felt fine. I have never seen anything like this before either.

Rack and Pinion internal play?
There is this weird play inside the rack and pinion. I will be making a video shortly to help better describe the situation I am having. Its like a rotational play.

Re: Highest RPM achieved?
Very useful information here. I might consider getting a 4a head soon. I forgot that one of my cam caps is pretty much jb welded into place and I have not checked on it lately. The exhaust port was also mangled when I had bought the car and is covered in jb weld too. I'm am quite surprised that it h...
