Re: Zach's 1985 4WD Tercel Wagon
I'll try washers first to make sure the thickness is good. I admit I don't want to make shims where I need to drill two holes without messing up ;) I'll probably shape some when I make a bracket for my amp. Speaking of which, I got my car's front brake lines replaced and no longer have the left fron...

Fuel line IDs from by tank
http://i.imgur.com/cucaUtX.jpg Top of image going to front of car, bottom of image is fuel tank. Leftmost line: fuel pickup. *the tank is still full on the Tercel, so it's possible that this is actually the return line and I don't know it yet* Middle line: fuel return. Rightmost line that loops bac...

http://i.imgur.com/iCaFB0o.jpg With pathfinder springs and t-bird shocks in back, all-trac springs and strut housings up front (but sedan shocks, which are over an inch less shock rod length). Tried to fix camber today enough that death might not seem so near when the car is driven. Got it more or ...

Re: BAT 1982 Subaru GL (via eBay)
The Brat is honestly a pretty cool idea. I haven't actually ever seen one in person, so I know almost nothing about it besides what Petros just said. It's the sort of thing I'd like (except I'd rather have an LS-swapped El Camino), as I'm a massive fan of mullet cars. the sway bar ends mounted in sq...

Re: 83 SR5 (Beat Up) Meridian, ID $500
How so? The interior looks relatively ok. The interior of our white Tercel is much grosser (I really need to tear out the carpet and wash it or burn it or SOMETHING, ANYTHING). That one just looks banged up.

Re: Zach's 1985 4WD Tercel Wagon
I got the fuel pump bolted on in front of the spare under the chassis, but couldn't plumb it in because I didn't have the fittings I needed. Couldn't do the brake lines as my jack stands are tied up with Vibe brake diagnostics on my car. Can't wait to bolt on my snazzy mechanical fuel pump port bloc...

Re: Zach's 1985 4WD Tercel Wagon
Went to replace rear brake lines and the fittings are frozen to the steel lines. Going to mix some BG green stuff and some ATF and put that on them, see if that helps. I also need to identify the fuel hose from the tank that's the pickup hose, and install the electric fuel pump. The Holley FPR diaph...

Re: The Most ASININE eBay Pricing I Have Ever Seen...
Paul, is he my mother or father? That's their style. I think it's a "upper-middle-class" thing, because pretty much everyone in my family will usually take the first price you give them. Wish I had that kind of financial security.

Re: newest addition to the family
Buying used engines is always risky, time involved is always a big deal, if nothing else. Usually for engines this old there are no good ones available, I know the temptation: get a good running engine and drop it in on the weekend. But unfortunately, that never happens. You can buy all the parts y...

Re: Just bought a JDM Carib sprinter
Land Rovers often use something similar. There was one near my home that had the air ride go out. It sat with one side bottomed out and the other fine for a few months.

Re: Zach's 1985 4WD Tercel Wagon
Pathfinder springs and t-bird shocks are on. I still need to tighten most of the fasteners and bore out one of the shock lower bushing washers...one was missing.
