Re: Best corrosion prevention
I put a mix of used ATF and either diesel or kerosene in a bug sprayer and then spray it on everything a couple times a year...undercarriage, suspension etc... im convinced this helps...or atleast cant hurt. probably isnt the best for the environment with it dripping off on the ground...but hey, Im ...

Re: Farting around the west coast
well i did want to see Washington State...even just an abbreviated drive-thru seeing...so really, visiting you, and possibly my other cousins who live there, would be the only reason to go up that way. Im thinking i want to try to leave Alameda soon here, like Sunday or Monday assuming i feel up for...

Re: Massive landslide in my neigborhood kills some residence
So...your saying these people were put in jail for clearing/moving trees on there own property? what asinine law were they actually violating by doing this? something to do with disturbing the environment? permit requirements (to cut firewood on your own property)?? Sounds like the families of all t...
Re: Wagovan!

F$%king printer...
This has me stumped...i fix computers for a living so its rather absurd that i cant figure this out. I have an OKI C5500 color Laser (LED) printer...It was given to me, but its a very nice normally expensive office machine. It prints black perfectly, but all the colors come out as dull/pastel/washed...

Re: JDM AE86 steering wheel install (pics inside)
I like the factory wheel with the box better...im more interested in why/how your car has a taller center console with room for a radio AND a double wide dash pocket? was this a feature on some or is it something you did? and the bellows-type shifter boot directly on the center hump without any plas...

you could also just remove the entire Tercel driveline, and put the entire car onto a Bronco/jeep/similar frame with its own engine/drive line... would look like the stomper toys i keep seeing around... short of that...its probably best to leave it alone for the reasons everybody else mentioned..

Re: VW diesel into T4?
I second what you said about being a dieselhead...same reason for my build, among other projects i have not mentioned on here (6.9l Ford IH diesel into 88 lincoln town car, hybrid diesel/electric Mercury Grand marquis using same said VW diesel and an electric forklift motor...). Dont let the naysaye...

Re: Juiceing the Automatic 3A
I just figured it would make more sense to attempt keeping everything 3A based because i have about 3 extra 3A engines around...and that the heads would just be interchangeable and the 16valve one would make it breath better. But i see your points, it probably is best to keep either the 3a, go 4a or...
