'83 Terc $1000 in Portland OR

Yeah, I'm selling mine. Lots of stuff done to it. It just passed smog, too. It does need some more work, though. I'm getting a motorcycle for the fiancee and don't want 4 vehicles. I may put the Jeep up for sale if the Tercel doesn't go, but right now the weather is too nice to get rid of the Jeep. ...

Well, I just took a trip down to Newport with the Badd Turkle. Avg'd 32mpg. Total distance was about 240mi. Approx temp 50-60deg. Avg speed 55mph. Terrain was hilly, up and down in both directions. Not too shabby, eh?

Actually, the Jeep Dana 35C found under the rear of most Wranglers, are a c-clip retained axle. the Axle slides into the housing and a little c-clip is inserted over a button on the end to keep it from sliding back out. If this button breaks, or if the splines break, the entire tire/wheel/hub/brake/...

December 18th, 2005. Vancouver, WA - Hillsboro, OR. My fiancee and I were attending the wedding of one of her friends. As my fiancee was one of the bridesmaids, we had to stay until the very end and then help clean up the reception hall. The snow had started coming in around 4:30 pm and the ice star...

A scissor-jack style spring compressor is the best one to use for these..... I had quite a time doing mine myself with the same spring compressors you are using.

Looks like you got it, though.

The struts I got were gas charged, but fully compressed. In in order to extend them I had to turn the piston 1/4 turn. If you do that before mocking up the assembly it's a biznitch to get it to go together. LEarned the same lesson in high school with an Accord......

Somewhat OT, Secondary Fuel Filter

I am looking to install a secondary "in-line" fuel filter in my 2000 Wrangler. It is a MPI setup, runs about 36psi, pump maxes out at about 95psi. I am looking to install something up by the fuel rail that can be changed out yearly. Any thoughts on what or how?

My swap was straight forward: compress springs, remove assy from vehicle, loosen strut retaining nut, remove spring retainer and spring, remove threaded cartridge retainer, remove ca...

Did you fab that whole thing yourself or buy one for a different application and modify it?
