Re: '85 Hatchback car/parts available 2018, Portland area....
Hey folks, update on this car. Went to pull a few small items today. Sorry no interior photos. Mostly intact DLX with brown interior in "okay" seats are beat up, no cargo cover. CAR HAS FACTORY CRUISE CONTROL I can PM her email to any interested parties. I could potentially pull some thing...

@ Hoodwagon - did you ever do a Search? See https://tercel4wd.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5074&hilit=boots It has pix and patterns. Tom M. I know of your thread; do you know for sure that the member used your thread to create new boots? I did find a set of straight waffle alloys for 75 b...

Seeking Light bar
In need of a light bar (or single roof rack) that could be modified to mount 4 rectangular auxiliary lights. Real chucky, incandecent 80's looking things. I had tried to buy a Carr brand bar with some vintage KC lights in Olympia last week but it didn't work out. Would prefer the bar be gutter mount...

Re: Project #2 - 1985 SR5
Let the car run for 1.5 hours sitting still yesterday. No worries, no overheat, no puddles under after. Interior carpets, seats, door panels and plastics were removed for cleaning and de-molding. Used white vinegar and Lysol as cleaning/killing agents. https://preview.ibb.co/es9HhH/20180408_184440.j...

Re: Project #2 - 1985 SR5
Lots of plans for this Tercel! Not sure if we will be taking it to the gambler or not. We do know that we at least temporarily will be trying to make it look like the pictured McDonalds STOMPER truck toy. Addressing oil leaks, running fine for now. Spending an upcoming day getting work done. https:/...

Re: Dose this forum have a Facebook page..
Not that I am aware of! But there is an active Tercel 4WD buy, sell, trade group that has a fair amount of discussion on the cars

Re: Getting a Turtle back in action
I haven't fully priced things. I am thinking about a hybrid option where I put the MA700 air shocks in the back (like 70 bucks a pair online) and then replace the front struts (mine are blown anyway), coils and hats/seats from an 86 Camry they have at the pick and pull down on Foster rd. That or Jim...

Re: The Definitive List of Ways to Lift a Tercel 4wd
Anyone seeing an issue with going the coil/hat from an 86 camry up front and the MA700 air shocks in the back?
I feel like that barto/abra add too much height in the back. I would like 2.5" all around and this seems about the right combo from reading these threads

Re: Getting a Turtle back in action
Yay! Another 85' T4 headed toward the gambler. Keep an eye on my build thread! I am likely going to be attempting to lift it Abra Cadaver style in a couple 3 weeks.
Your's looks pretty clean and was a steal even if you paid the 400 bucks the guy was asking.

Project #2 - 1985 SR5
Found this car on Facebook for insanely cheap as a none running parts car. Woman was going to scrap it for 50 dollars. She said it had run when parked about 1.5 years ago. Sunroof was left partially ajar in Oregon for 1.5 years.....so it is hella funky. I got it back to my folks farm and started it ...

Re: New Owner in Vancouver WA
Contacted a photographer who was looking for a "classic" car to take pictures of a model leaning on for her portfolio. In exchange she took 64 model free pictures of my T4! https://preview.ibb.co/jDZyen/Final_1_111.jpg https://preview.ibb.co/hi6Bzn/Final_1_109.jpg https://preview.ibb.co/ck...
