That looks too clean! I don't know about Pennsylvania inspections, but some places you can find an independent shop who will pass it in exchange for a little "monetary motivation."

Re: The Definitive List of Ways to Lift a Tercel 4wd
Update: I have GREAT NEWS for anyone attempting a lift currently. As of the date of this posting, I have located rear coil springs that will give 2-3” of lift to our wagons! After tons of research which started with making a spreadsheet of about a dozen different spring options and their specs for ...

Crikey, that's pretty rough for $1500...dlb wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 9:30 pm https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... 442339361/
This looks like Scotisha's wagon but it's gotten pretty rusty in the 10 years or so since I last saw it. There is a pic in the ad of a handwritten list of the known issues with it.

Re: 4WD fuel pickup line?
I did try bending my 2wd pickup, and it is feasible to make it work. The real issue is that all the tubes are clocked differently on the 4wd tank, which means you have to put a twist in the lines (prone to snapping). Apparently I didn't do that well enough, because my float contacts the fuel pickup....

Re: inclinometer in kamloops for $200
I want it and it's close enough to me but I'm not willing to spend that much on principle. One day I'll get lucky at a pick n pull and find one for a cool $25.

Re: Brand new transmission internals!?!
They dont have most parts that they claim they do. Amayama is a japanese parts exporter, and their supplier for toyota parts is toyota. If you want something strange, lets say a new leather sr5 shift knob (an option on the first gen tercels), and amayama says they have it, they more than likely don...

Re: 4WD fuel pickup line?
I need a source for one too. I tried modifying a 2wd one and it works, but comes into contact with my float so the gauge won't read below 1/2 tank. Frustrating.

Brand new transmission internals!?!
I found a site out of Japan that claims to have all manners of new parts for our cars. Including unobtainium like new body panels and transmission internals. Naturally, I'm sceptical of whether or not they actually stock the parts. There isn't anything I currently need from this site, but I'm VERY c...

yes, those should interchange as long as you replace all of the parts together, one to the other.

Re: Fixing Up Jenny
After changing out the gas tank, I had an issue with the fuel gauge not reading properly (just above empty on a full tank). A tough pill to swallow considering that a replacement sending unit is like $300 or so on rock auto. Luckily for me, the problem was solved by taking the sending unit out and p...
