Re: Driveline Carrier Bearing
A F Class part from Toyota basically means they have a part # in the system but good luck finding any warehouse with it actually in stock. About a step away from becoming a dropped part #. Or as my Toyota parts guy and good friend says......"Sorry your F.....D" look for aftermarket. Someti...

Re: Driveline Carrier Bearing
I'm gonna try AutoZone. I think I get a AAA discount there. Schucks Part # is not the correct bearing setup. Napa doesn't carry it and it's an F class part from Toyota btw. Sounds like an out of balance drive shaft...the center bearing doesn't seem to be a frequent problem? That's what I thought las...

Re: Engine Swap options
1, 2 and 3TC's came in the early 70's Corolla right. I was told that they use the same engine/trani mounting as a 22R.
Don't think it's gonna go in easy.

I've gone thru 3 used ones over the past two years. I just want to buy a new one for under two hundred bucks that'll last another 200K.

Re: 4AGE swap into 85 4WD
looks like a good fit. The exhaust head pipe is going to be a tight fit. Is the hood going to clear? Or is a hood scoop in your future? As for a good fit, kinda. The engine is sitting at a bit of an angle using the factory engine bracing. I beleive the exhaust will fit ok, Heat is gonna be a major ...

Re: Tercel4wd.com merchandise?
I haven't had time to get too far with stickers or T-shirts. The recent snow has doubled my work commute time and my boss decided to take thru the holiday off.
So hopefully I can have some one-offs soon.

Re: Help re: broken Steering wheel cover/light switch
Milking occurs when you get water in it, water does not mix with oil. I suspect the detergent quality of the oil keeps the water in suspension. Ahhhh . Didn't seem like there was water in it. Happened during dry conditions during the summer over a two month period. I wonder how I could of gotten wa...

Regarding the 7A-FE One thing to consider thou. When was the last time you heard about someone bragging about their 7A-FE. Not exactly a "Formula Atlantic Motor" I get enough shit from the guys at Toyota and in the other forums about being this hard-core about T4WDs. There just doesn't see...

Re: Help re: broken Steering wheel cover/light switch
The synthetic is so slippery that it impedes the syncro-mesh function and if you hurry a shift you get a slight gear clash. I have experienced it and so have others using pure synthetic gear lube in the trans. The 50/50 mix should solve this, save you money and still give the trans the advantage of...
