Re: JDM Sprinter Carib RHD for sale in Texas only 41,000 kms!

Having driven RHD, it's really not that hard to get used to, although I did find myself staring out the driver's window when I meant to look in the rearview mirror... The most difficult thing will be making LH turns across traffic (like at a four way intersection), passing another car on a two-lane ...

Re: Having followed recent gear oil post

I would hesitate to use any oil rated for "Limited Slip". This means it has extra friction modifiers that will increase wear on your syncros.

Re: T4 auto show

Yeah, I understand that it will be quite a drive for a lot of people, but the scenery and memories to be made will be worth it! I believe the nearest "legal" camp ground would be at Denny Creek?

Re: T4 auto show

I did some brainstorming last night and I think it would be neat to have a little gathering up at the Snoqualmie Pass ski area some time in July s, I'm thinking the Sunday the 10th or 17th? It's easy to get to and there are twisty paved roads as well as Forest Service roads for fun drives. There als...

I would be interested in hosting an event in the greater Seattle area, for those in the PNW.

Doesn't look like they have much for the 3A/4A, but they would be happy to make some!

Re: BAT 1982 Subaru GL (via eBay)

It's a toss up on the spare tire issue. It does get exposed to more radiant heat, but it also sees zero UV light. I still have the original T-type spare in both my '84 turbos.

I worked on a few early ones, I had one friend in college that fell in love with them, he found one with a blown engine and went about making it an off road machine. after blowing a number of engines trying to get more power out of them, he gave up and got a Toyota 4x4 t...

Re: Redline 75-90 NS: Good tranny lube!

I found recently that Red Line has our car listed on its website with various fluid recommendations. I was unsure about their suggestions and messaged them: Make: Toyota Model: Tercel 4WD Year: 1987 Engine Type: 1.5L Gasoline Differential Size/Type: hypoid open-diff Transmission Type: hypoid transax...

What type of light bulb to I need for the HVAC panel? I looked over some other threads about replacing it, but nobody explicitly said, "This part number."

Re: Intermittent Wiper Repair

Anyone ever figure this out? My wipers are of the non-adjustable flavor. They do not auto-park when turned off and the "INT" and "LOW" settings are the same speed.
