Re: Rear stabilizer bar - failed center mounts

Removing the rear bar will DECREASE the tendency to oversteer, not increase it.

New L/R Front Window regulators - $40 each

After reading about in-op windows on this site, I figured that both my front regulators would be toast, so I bought new replacements. Once I finally got around to opening up the doors, I found that the regulators weren't the problem. I no longer need these, so I figured that I'd offer them up to the...

Re: unhappy with 80w-90 gear oil

Once again I will state that I believe that Redline 75-90 NS is the best lube for the t4wd trans. Link: http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?product=58304 Cut and paste from the above link: Improved copper corrosion protection to prolong synchro life Redline themselves suggest a different fluid f...

Re: Tercel 4WD vs Civic 4WD :: A side view comparison.

I'll have to find the scan, but I have at least two magazine articles comparing 80's 4WD econoboxes, it was a REALLY interesting read as I recall.

Re: Tercel 4WD vs Civic 4WD :: A side view comparison.

While I think the Civic has more tidy proportions overall and is a little more cohesive, the Toyota has styling cues that are more technical to design/execute. The scalloped door skins under the door handles, the contour of the wheel arches. Clearly the asymmetrical tailgate/reverse light makes the ...

Re: Question On Timing Belt Kits...

I'd vote Gates over Dayco, but only because they manufacture quality performance parts as well.

Re: AMC Dealers 1985 comparison test. Eagle vs. Tercel

While the AMC has gone the way of the dinasaur, there appears to be an active group of folks similar to us still driving the Subarus. Chris There sure is! I'm not sure what the sales numbers were for the Tercel vs. Subarus of a similar vintage, but between the USMB and a handful of Facebook pages, ...

WTB: Blue Rear Seatback Release Knobs

Like the title states, I'm wondering if anyone has a pair of dark blue rear seatback release knobs and their little upholstery trim rings. Name your price, thanks!

Re: If You Want To Save America And The World:

I'm convinced that the two-party system is what's really wrong with America. We are such a diverse nation, all of us immigrants, that two buckets of ideology cannot hope to contain the full breadth of ideas and beliefs of our population. As the first country to dedicate lands for a national park, I'...

In for price as well. I'm very interested if this was a known-working part when it was removed.

Yes, the channel that clamps onto the lower edge of the glass fatigued at both the mounting points and broke. Passenger's side looks ok.

WTB: Driver's Side Window-Glass Channel

As I tore into my front doors, expecting to find stripped teeth on the window regulators, I was greeted with this scene: http://i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww64/soobcrazy/Mobile%20Uploads/20160518_181354_zpssvvgecce.jpg http://i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww64/soobcrazy/Mobile%20Uploads/20160518_1813...
