X- thanks -sway bar aft ends,control arm bushing and tie rod ends(are the tie rod ends the same on all tercs or are 4wd different) i get all my bits from rockauto- thanks again DEREK

HI- in an earlier posting it is mentioned that a clunk when you accelerate can be caused by worn bushings-what i want to know is where are these bushings? can any body help? thanks and long time no see to everybody-DEREK

Petros- yes i agree about making a by-pass that is what i would do and in spain old cars 20 plus years dont need a cat- but there is a emission hose comming from the rocker box down to the cat and going into the cat via an steel tube attached to the side of the cat- taking this hose out might cause ...

Hi- 87 terc 4wd catalytic convertor leaking need a replacement part any ideas its abt 16inches long- have bought parts from Autorock and have had no trouble with postage to the UK- but there is large number on offer and dont know where to start -thanks in advance -DEREK

Put the hose into it as far as you feed it -then connect the hose to the tap(facet) then turn the tap on- or look for the inspection cover outside and rod the outlet pipe with a flexible /semi rigid tube on use the hose and flush with water- and stop putting wet wipes down the bog!!!-DEREK
