Re: Driveshaft
Just posting the part number for a complete. I like Rock Auto alternatives when there are higher quality parts to be had - figured someone else might as well.

Re: WTB: rear speaker brackets
That would be awesome. I checked my parts box and I only have the newer corner lens. Looks like the spare parts that came with the car are all off another '87. Happy to send out some other part if you need it and I have it though. I'll shoot you a pm with my info.

Re: WTB: rear speaker brackets
Just the metal brackets. My cargo covers are clean and I'm going to use aftermarket grills or design my own instead of trying to scrounge originals.

WTB: rear speaker brackets
There's a new set(2 pair) on ebay for $30 shipped. If anyone has spares they'd get rid of for less, shoot me a message, otherwise I'll pull the trigger on those in a week or so.

If anyone makes it down, I could use the grill and headlight assemblies. Don't really need the LED conversion part as I'd prefer to go with a Hella setup for normal bulbs, if that makes it a cheaper pull. LMK a price pulled and shipped to Dallas.

Re: Wiring harness and drive shaft for trade
Thanks for the tip. My other toy is an 87 4wd Toyota Van, and the general consensus on those is to go with a new PowerTrain driveshaft if you end up needing to replace yours. They also make a replacement for the Tercel, and, at least on the vans, have a good reputation for using beefier/easily repla...

Re: Grill Downgrade - parts list needed
nm - I did some ebay searching and it looks like the headlight assembly and mounting brackets are easy enough to find together, and I can't see anything else I'd need based on google images and my own grill setup.

Grill Downgrade - parts list needed
The '87 I just bought has some custom replacement headlights off a non-wagon later Tercel. They work, but they don't fit right, and now that I've had time to dig in, I'm not sure there's any solving. I know 87 headlight assemblies are harder to come by. Would someone that's done a bit of grill work ...

Wiring harness and drive shaft for trade
I have a what looks like a full wiring harness from an 87 (I'm going off the other spare parts that came with my car for the year), as well as a drive shaft. I generally hang on to parts I only have one spare of, but in case anyone is interested and has parts to trade, I thought I'd post them here. ...

After a flight delay due to Dallas weather, I flew out to Seattle Sunday night with a buddy to pick up this: IMG_2780.jpg , purchased through the forum sight unseen for $325. We visited with friends and family overnight and headed out late Monday morning. Other than gas, food, and pee stops, our onl...

Re: Wanted: several spare parts
@Petros - that would be great! I am actually flying up to Seattle on the 4th of next month to pick up the car and road trip it home, so if there's an option to pick up the parts that Friday night or Saturday morning, I could just haul them back to Texas. Let me know if that might work and we can pm ...

Re: Wanted: several spare parts
has anybody tried the T01B version? (ours is the T01A) Looking at Spectra's site ( https://ecat.spectrapremium.com/products/TO1B ), they appear to have the same dimensions, and that tank is still available. Not the most scientific, but opening each tank in side by side tabs and jumping back and fort...

Re: 1987 4WD Van - WTT for 4WD Manual Wagon
A quick update - I just bought a wagon; I think I'm still up for a trade, but definitely less up for another road trip.

Thanks! As long as those are around I may just Jb Weld the outside and POR15 inside and not worry about it until I need to.
