i use in mine polyurethane 95 shure a hardness, i make them here in the shop. They last a couple of years, ive tried them with graphite/polyurethane and just polyurethane and they work the same

it is just the first time it is awful, what helps me a lot is to work as oil free as possible, and be patient, i had a third spare block that is now full of wholes because i broke a couple of oil pan bolts, so i got mad and used it for target practice, im not a very patient man

i tried the trd pump on the block, and fits perfectly, also the plastic fits just needs a little trim

have you tried gaping your plugs to 0.030" and check your valve lash, i had that once and i had to tight exhaust valve lash

ive done the turbo thing once before, but i went drawthrough, i would run the biggest turbo you could spool decently, would try a t25 or a td04 from a volvo, meth injection would be nice but to be adequate for daily use you would need a biiiig tank. try a vw intercooler or a dsm one, even better a s...

i scored a first gen 4age crank and eagle rods, tomorrow im going to go check them out, they come with arp 2000 hardware, so ill have to redo the scraper if its all good, found my trd oil pump for the 4ac so i hope it bolts on if not ill port and shim the oem one

next up is a little blueprinting, head porting i have 2 32 36 and a dual carb manifold so i maybe going crazy on this one, maybe bike carbs i have a 36mm set coming over next week, only time will tell im doing lightweight pullies again so i may be giving away my old one

listen for timing chain noises, spring shackles(they crack really easy when rusted), no play in the steering simple to fix but nor really cheap, and as someone said before the rails, the ones ive worked on had a tendency to have the diff start whining but i guess it was negligence by the owner
