yea the vacum things of thate engine are a hot mess, that is why i took it off and went a ida 48 weber, but the car was gas guzzling so went back to the 32 36

fusion components with a nice amp is the cheap way, infinity kappa series if youre willing to spend more, again this is for sound quality

there are 3 3as engines that i know of (and own) there is the 3as which is the one with the swirl port, the scv which is the one that has a vacum activated valve in the intake, and 3asu which has the dual exit exhaust manifold and a dual variable ventouri carbs, the last one was rated at 90hp and 82...

there is no problem, they have a number on the side(at least mine do ) that is how i know they are ok

nice to hear the car is runing, idealy you should have 3 psi over boost pressure, you should get a rising rate regulator and get 5-6 psi base, set your timing at 8° if you get too much timing up top use stiffer springs in the advance and get your emulsion tubes tuned for boost it is what gets the be...

you have to do emissions? if you do have a catco 2.5" cat with 2.25", i use that size and the car pulls good, i assure you even better with a better head, burns are good mufflers if found cheap, if not my choice are supersprint or borla i like quiet. As for stich welding...... DO IT it did...

nice work im looking forward to see the mating of the engine with the transmission, maybe i can be cohersed in finding a decent 4age, the ones near me are so far from stock not worth even considering for a street car

also the humming could come from bad seals in the bearing, grease gets out humidity and salt get in and starts humming, happened to me after a time i went to the beach often, boiled the bearing in 30w oil repacked it with bearing grease and was fine, no scuff marks or anything.

afaik it is a 8 bolt crank, that is why i dont want to cut into the flywheel anymore ive been trying some 4ag parts in the 3a, there is a 4ag head laying around ill see what else fits, not that the 3a isnt robust enough but 4ag parts are tougher, just the oilpump the gears are about an eight of an i...
