You can test a fuel pump while it’s in car. Disconnect the hose that goes to carb and replace with a clear plastic hose and run hose into a container of some sort. Crank engine and see if it pumps fuel into container. Or have someone watch the hose see if gas moves thru it

Also not bench bleeding master cylinder properly will mess it up
When bench bleeding its important not to push the piston too far in

Not sure if this can be done on a tercel cause i never tried it
A friend installed calipers on wrong sides of his truck so bleeder screw was too low and air bubble inside would not go out during bleeding.

Jack up both tires on one side. Put tranny in neutral and rotate a tire. If the other tire rotates it’s stuck in 4wd

Mismatched tire diameter can cause the hard to get out of 4wd thing.
When mine gets stuck I put in reverse and back up and push 4wd lever forward

“PS” = power steering can steer someone the wrong way. Need to drive them into automatic transmission fluid which tercel racks require.
