That fender has definitely been replaced, body lines don’t line up and it wouldn’t have came that way from the factory. Only ‘83-‘84’s had the antenna on the drivers side all ‘85-‘88’s had it on the passenger side.

They are still junk. My brother had a few of them from 2002-2014 the 02 Impreza was good, then he had an ‘04 turbo Forester,trans. problems, ‘06 turbo Forester good, ‘09 turbo Forester good, ‘11 Outback 3.6 6cyl. real good car, and then he bought a ‘14 turbo Forester it was charcoal grey in colour, ...

I use 15” Mazda Miata 5 spoke alloys with 185-55-15 same overall height as 175-70-13 original wheels and have no rubbing issues and the car handles and rides so much better.

If your brake light is on and your charge light is on but not bright it means the brake fluid is low in your master cylinder reservoir, all the Toyotas I have ever owned have done that.

It must be installed for US emissions, the Canadian models don’t have it, my mint Texas Tercel has it and I bought one from North Dakota for parts and it has it also, you guys also have a much bigger converter than ours do, which makes the intermediate exhaust pipe have to be longer because our conv...

‘83-‘84 mirrors are the same except the ‘83’s do not have the convexed glass ( objects in mirror are closer than they appear) in them, which is no big deal.

You don’t need the vacuum advance if you take the vacuum lines off and plug them and set your timing to 10 degrees BTDC, (there are articles on this forum from other members) they work so much better than having them set at 5 degrees with the vacuum lines connected.
