Not a bad idea, honestly. How's the clearance with the taller plug to the transmission tunnel?

When I first got my Tercel I had an issue with the steering joint stiffening up mid-corner. Sprayed it with either WD-40 or PB Blaster once, maybe 4 years ago, and have never given it a second thought. The oil took care of the binding in the joint. Spend a few cents to see if it just needs some lube...

Those look a lot like spark plug wire pliers.
