Outstanding paint condition!
Very odd mix of black and tan on the inside.
Value would depend on the rest of the inside and the miles, which he didn't post!

I guess it wasn't meant to be the one, he sold it, even knowing I was driving out there tomorrow. Oh well!

Re: Low Miles 2wd 1982 TOYOTA TERCEL COROLLA
I'm getting 25-30 MPG out of mine, granted, that's mixed driving with a crappy carb and most of the emissions stuff shot!

Re: This might be the one
We're going out Thursday to see it. More than anything I want to kick the tires, look it all over, and drive it around (and see how it compares to my 1st gen). He seems to be the sort that does his own work! Says he serviced the transmission when he rebuilt the engine, claims the Weber works really ...

This might be the one
Says he spent $800 rebuilding the engine including the bottom, and after that redid the clutch, installed a weber carb, has 200k on the body. Only selling it because he doesn't have to commute an hour to work anymore! Has ac, doesn't work. We'll probably go out this weekend! What do you guys think a...

Re: EFI buick will not run after running out of fuel
My research showed a properly cared for Buick will last 200-250k+ I may not get to put that to the test as we'll need a bigger car as the family grows  I actually like my "old people's car", it gets fantastic MPG for being a V6 (30 highway), and is smooth and quiet while driving. Prob...

Re: EFI buick will not run after running out of fuel
Petros, for the headlights, you can pull the headlight switch out one notch and the parking lights should come on without the headlights, if it works anything like my 2003 Regal! I have ran my Regal out of gas once and never had any issues, perhaps I got lucky or they fixed it by then! I would not g...

Re: Questions regarding oil changes
My Regal has a nice sensor that monitors the oil and tells me when it is dirty and time to change it, I've gone almost 10,000 miles until the light turned on and the oil wasn't even that bad! The Tercel however, I notice as the oil ages it starts leaking out faster, I changed the oil when I bought i...

Re: 86 transmission rebuild help
My 1st gen has a 5 speed manual, and isn't a SR5! A 4 speed manual was an option as well.
Good to know I have a wide range of replacements available if the tranny kicks the bucket!
