Re: Tachometer connection problem

You have a different set up than North American cars. That looks correct according to your diagram. I think it's the negative terminal that gives the signal. Any luck yet?

Re: Tachometer connection problem

It needs to get its signal from the distributor, so I don't think your connection will work. There is a small unused plug near the distributor that I think may provide a signal but I have never tried. Worth a shot.

Hi Petros. Do you know if alternators are interchangeable from the different years?

Re: Voltage Regulator Location

Thanks Petros. The alternator turned out to be internally regulated but I wanted to be sure. Got it running again.

Voltage Regulator Location

Alternator isn't charging on my 84 SR5, US model. It is supposed to have an external regulator. I can't find it. Does anyone know where it is located and can post a photo? Thanks.

The thermostat needs to open and hot coolant reach the sensor. You may have two defective thermostats. You didn't mention if the c...

Folian or Jimcrazy, can you post pictures of more details of the plow mounting brackets, etc. Thinking of turning one of my parts cars into a plow because my plow guy is no longer reliable.

I have texted this seller and have not heard back from him. Is there a member who has corresponded with him at all? I am really interested in purchasing multiple parts.

Thanks for sharing all those photos. How do you find the neoprene outer sway bar bushings? Where did you buy them?
