I got a OEM t-stat for my tercel and i noticed fatser warm ups and more consistant normal operating temp (it used to go up 3/4 the way to red, now it will only go slightly past the middle) the only reason it goes past middle at all is because my temp switch that tells the fan when to come on is old ...

What do the Toyota filters run?
$6 CDN costs less than the "performance" ones i see at Canadian tire and works alot better.

for $10 you cant go wrong! i doubt its anything very difficult to fix, probably something as simple as a bad fuel pump.

and the oil leaking from the pan that occured right after an oil change is 99% likeley that it has the wrong drain plug washer.

anyone used them? I remember when i put one in my tercel the oil stayed cleaner longer (the oil on the dip stick would no longer turn jet black instantly after oil change) and the oil pressure sensor started leaking because of the increased oil pressure. ever since then i have been sold on them, and...

thanks for the compliments, having the cluster in the middle took some getting used to, but I think nothing of it now. its milage is basically 50MPG and its a 10 gal tank. you gotta drive like grandma or only do highway driving to get that kind of milage, it REALLY burns up the gas if you drive it h...

Welcome! Hot Echo you got there - I love the rims. I'm toying with the idea of buying one as a daily driver for my wife and I. Can't beat the cost, and they get great mileage. Not only that, but the power to weight ratio is excellent. How do you like yours? What all have you done to it? You must be...
