never tried a "top end" run with a t4wd (back in my younger days, i did it with EVERY car i owned.) back when they were contemporary cars, a neighbor had a t4wd with vanity tag "fugly." maybe i'll try that top end run soon!

best way i've found to diagnose a fuel tank/ supply line problem is to rig up an aux fuel tank under the hood (antifreeze jug works good.) fill it 3/4 full of known good gas, connect hoses to fuel pump inlet and return nipples, drive the car & see how it runs! if still bad, problem's somewhere e...

transverse engine- in 1983 tercel -- don't think so in ANY market. please correct me if i'm wrong.

i agree- i have 2 sets for my tercels, and if you hacksaw the "acorn" part of the tercel lug nuts off, the mazda center caps will fit!

had to do my 30 min on the treadmill. all done now- beer time!!

beautiful day here in scenic baltimore MD- 67 degrees and sunny- makes me want to drink a beer! 'course when it's cold and snowy, i want to drink a beer too. now that i think about it- when it's 95 degrees with 98% humidity, i REALLY want to drink a beer! Hmm- some sort of pattern emerging??

think they mean "jasper" engine- mass engine and transmission rebuilder.

no power windows in our tercels- most likely a camry.

did dealer exchanges for a local toy dealer back in '89. drove a camry all-trac wagon with a 4 cyl stick shift- COOL CAR. sticker price of 13k as i recall. also drove a v6 camry sedan with a stick. that car RAN! (never seen or heard of one since.)
