Re: 86 Tercel fuel tank
I got out and checked my remaining spare tanks and they are a little suspect unfortunately.

I can check on what I have. Roughly where are you located? Shipping would probably be pretty high.

Re: Choke Pull Off for carburetor
They're both the same part just two different brands. Pick one. Put this code 144336455133192587 in the "where did you hear about us" box during checkout and you will get 5% off your price.

Re: Stuck timing belt sprocket
Petros, Thank you. I suppose my main issue was the lack of room in the engine compartment. I of course had removed the radiator but perhaps I should have removed the radiator support to gain more room. I found that I barely had room to swing even a small hammer although I did manage to tap on it qui...

Stuck timing belt sprocket
This post is sort of dual purpose. I wish the express my annoyance but wouldn't mind hearing any tips on how to approach this. Today I began the simple task of replacing my very worn timing belt. I took everything apart to get down to the belt and removed the balancer of course. I noticed that the t...

Re: approximate one year update on rebuild
Chris, I took my 84' on some of the steep trails. It seemed like the 3.73 was a little too high for me even with the stock tires. Just my input. It might actually be similar to your Rusty Frog with the 4.11 gears but taller tires. Of course you have that 4A engine though. Of course my main off-road ...

Re: approximate one year update on rebuild
Would you swap your 4.11 gears to your 83 from Rusty Frog?

Re: No More Moog
I believe the power steering racks use the shorter tie-rods because the rack itself is longer. One of my cars is lifted and uses the shorter ones with no issues with it's power steering rack.

No More Moog
I stopped by the local parts store today and was informed that my favorite brand for steering parts, Moog, has marked their inner tie rods for our cars (EV168) for obsolescence and isn't producing them any more. I'm not sure this applies to the longer EV165 Moog tie rods or the outer tie rods but ei...
