Re: Free: Parts Collection, continue to page 2 !!!!
Thank you member 'dlb' for your understanding, you nailed it, it's personal. Much effort and sweat went into this collection back in the days, 2010 through 2016 NOW I am 100% into it all being gone in one move, to make it easy, I don't need the money. Hoping some of this will be used, or resold to ...

Re: Help! Looking for who built my 4age Tercel
Oh nice! It is a blue top, just unsure of the exact year. I’ve just been calling it a 1983 when looking for parts, and hoping for the best. I’m currently searching for a water pump, however I’m not having any luck with my local parts suppliers. Any online recommendations? is your water pump pulley ...

Re: Oxygen sensor ?
What is the "slight hiccup" at idle, can you be more specific? I definitely agree with SirFoxx re: tempering expectations of an old carb'd engine. So if by hiccup you mean sometimes it idles at 600 instead of 800 rpm, I'd say that's just fine. But if you mean it sometimes runs rough or al...

Re: Help! Looking for who built my 4age Tercel
i remember when this was for sale originally. didnt used to have the stripes.
4age swaps are rare -- theres only a very few of us that have done it, myself included. The motor in yours should be a basic big port blue top 4age.
what parts are you looking for?

Re: Aisan Secondary Diaphram
I needed a Secondary Diaphram for my Aisan carb. I had a lot of trouble finding it, so wanted to share where I finally found it. First, there seems to be at least 2 different diaphrams. In Roberts excellent carburetor rebuild video, the rod on his Secondary Diaphram is straight. I believe that one ...

Re: Turbo 4age tercel

Replaced the cable with an ATP Y-488. its from an isuzu pickup / p'up. I had to cut the one bracket of...

Re: New to the Forum. Hope to be an owner soon!
Thanks, folks. Makes total sense. I think I'm going to pick up a different 83 that's a smoking deal but in rougher shape aesthetically and needs a rebuilt motor. If I can get a reasonable price on the one listed above I'd consider just swapping the good trans into that one. I appreciate the guidanc...

Re: Souping up a 3A Engine
Hi Mattel, There was a post about the 3A saying that the exhaust valves tend to wear out, so when it arrives, I will see what the compression is like and change them out if they are worn. Any thoughts on the head-gasket or giving it a different cam if I have it apart? Everything I have read agrees ...
