Re: Tercel4wd.com merchandise?

That's what I've been wanting. All I found was this. An update on the Toyota hatch sticker: The previous dimensions are missing a few areas needed for cutting (red and green lines in first image). Some fine individual on the FB page did some checking on an 83 and 87 and found the sticker changed di...

Rad! That makes me think I'm on the right track.
I don't have an IG for the TrukCel yet but as soon as I get her rolling again I'll make it happen hah!

I found all of the fancy bushings here: https://www.suspension.com/products/toyota_tercel_1984
Glory, glory, hallelujah! Hello bushings!

Re: 1983 Tercel SR5 4WD on Copart in Eugene, OR

You make it home yet? I tried to do the same with a pair of Tercel's before I picked up my free one in Colorado. Borrowed my father-in-law's truck then a buddy of mine and I drove from Texas to Washington state with the intent of picking up one good T4WD and one with front end damage. Intent was to ...

Re: 1983 Tercel SR5 4WD on Copart in Eugene, OR

It started at $100 and it didn't budge for about a week but then the day right before people starting pre-bidding online. When I actually submitted my first and last bid someone already had the lot at $325. Luckily it didn't turn into full-fledged bidding war. As far as the post goes, I wouldn't ki...

Re: 1983 Tercel SR5 4WD on Copart in Eugene, OR

Just letting y'all know that I ended up buying this thing. It was a birthday gift to myself lol... The lot listing said "runs and drives" we'll see how much of that is true. Ideally it makes it all the way down to SoCal. Pray for me boys 🙏 Yay! How much did you pay for it (before and after fees)? S...

Re: 1983 Tercel SR5 4WD on Copart in Eugene, OR

FYI either it didn't sell the first time or the auction was cancelled for some reason, it's still available and listed with a "future" date for the auction. Also in Oregon you don't need a dealer/business license. Anyone can buy any vehicle from Copart in Oregon. Which is better than we have it in T...

Re: Texas T4WD 7AGE Project

Not a lot to report so far, been nothing but 100+F days around here. Engine is out of the truck and on the engine stand, have added freeze plugs to the shopping list as the engine seller popped holes in several to get all the fluids out before shipping. It's dirty, but nothing some degreaser and my ...

Re: Texas T4WD 7AGE Project

I think having rear disks would be great, but unless there is an adapter kit, it looks like too much work to make it work on your own. typically there is a lot of trial and error, making spacers and brackets, etc so it all works together, and than dialing in front to rear bias with a propositioning...

Re: Texas T4WD 7AGE Project

Heh, I happen to have one of those prop valves on the shelf for this exact project ;) I've been thinking about finding a 4AGE head to swap onto my 4AFE, I used the generic style 4AF/4AG style pistons when I rebuilt the bottom end so I think I can just make the swap. The 4AFE is a significant improv...

Re: Texas T4WD 7AGE Project

Very interested in where this project goes! Lifting information can be found here: https://tercel4wd.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13106 One of the many bookmarks! I'm likely to go with the Abra-Cadaver lift as it sits well, uses all new parts, and the CVs should be put at a better angle after I s...
