Re: New diagnositc tool for OBD equiped cars

I think you could say the same thing of almost any economy car made in 1983 though to 1988 and a lot of that was fixed with the all-trac corolla in 1988 which also was advanced for an economy car of its time. Not many cars are around these days. How about the GM or AMC cars from that time? How many ...

Re: New diagnositc tool for OBD equiped cars

Hey, has it been made commercially yet as Kickstarter is mostly used to finance a project? This does sound like a great idea however it is recommended by Tercel hater Scotty Kilmer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_ZVsibXNrk in the video on your linked page.

Re: Toyota is making an updated Tercel 4wd!

I think they would be tie down straps? this whole thing looks really practical. I think the RAV4 hybrids rear wheels are only being powered by electric motors rather than a propeller shaft from the main engine now.

Re: Toyota is making an updated Tercel 4wd!

I'm not sure, I think its got its own style and is only 4300mm long so almost exactly the same as the Euro bumper version of our cars which are fairly utilitarian in many ways. Its only the front lights that let this down. but I love the interior especially the racking system inside the roof (if you...

I 'm thinking more about videos that show how to fix tercels. "Repair Guide Videos" or something like that
That would be a great idea. There are a few on youtube and even similar cars like Corollas have componants that are similar that we could post!

Re: Flying Cars are here.. in your driveway actually

Hi Petros. I downloaded off a Facebook page for the AE95 Corolla wagon. But it had no more information or the photographers details. Now you mention it. I can't imagine it working. The Tercel body would be to heavy I would imagine for this purpose and their are a lot of details missing. It does look...

Re: What is the average Idling gas consumption in a 3A engine?

Dumindu, you calculation is off by a factor of two because you multiplied displacement by RPM, it is only one intake stroke per TWO revolutions (four stroke engine, one power cycle per two revs). the 12:1 air fuel ratio is a guess, it ranges from about 11 (on hard acceleration) to as lean as 16:1. ...

Re: New(er) RV!

Heres my little RV. I think David had a Vanagon as well? this is a Trakka VW conversion from Australia with beds for 2 below and 2 kids in the pop top sink, fridge, 150w solar, 50l water and a propane stove that can angle and be removed to be used outside when needed. Mine doesn't have a shower but ...

Re: Best Tercel in Aus I've seen in years

Hi Press.
I always see a few around Adelaide. 10 years ago in Melbourne there were five of them within a km of me in inner city Fitzroy.. Now no more. I've tried to save a couple but no luck.
That grey one above. I hope someone puts a new gearbox in it. looks like it had been well looked after
