Re: New here. Need help. Need a trans.

There's been one near me that pops up every now and again. Last I seen it was in 2 pieces and a bit of surface rust on some areas. The seller said it had been sitting in storage for several years. If it pops up again I will be sure to inquire about it for you

I couldn't tell you. I've always installed clutches with their prospective tools. I wouldn't want to chance it.

Re: Video of latest weber conversion i have seen

Weird indeed. Seems as if the oil pressure sensor is being used as a switch for the fuel pump. If the engine loses oil pressure, it'll cut the fuel. Don't know why they ran the choke wire like that either. There is a powered wire to the left of the carb somewhere in the harness.

Re: Axle play at Front differential & bearing whine #%&*

Possibly super unrelated but I had some issues a few years back with a corolla I had. It sounded like complete butt. Heres what I took back then:

I can't remember opening it up, but I know the difference was trashed. There was movement in the cv axle like yours, but ...

Re: Cv axle popping out

I recently started having this problem. Parked it yesterday in the garage and noticed a pool of trans fluid under it this morning. Looked down there and I was able to pull the axle out by hand.

This is its current state: 20191213_085805.jpg

The splines have started twisting. It's quite obvious I ...

I have a 5 gallon air tank with a single viair 444c compressor. I had dual compressors from the start but it was too much for the alternator to handle.

Re: Oh Boy! What a deal!

I think my setup is backwards from what everyone else might want. It's my belief that they want to maintain stock ride height and be able to gain lift with the air bags.

Unlike me who enjoys being lowered but can also achieve a level of stock ride height and above if need be, (I live in a flat ...
