Re: 1983 Tercel SR5 4WD on Copart in Eugene, OR

I'm in Texas as well and have a guy who partakes in this business. I asked him about it and he said shipping would be killer to get it here. I just want the entire interior. :(

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?

I acquired a hatch from an 86 auto 4wd dlx last weekend. Feels good to have my rear wiper back in action, as well as the third brake light for a bonus.

So, if people are interested, I built a 7age and dropped it in my first gen tercel. The drivetrain is the same for 2wd and 4wd (minus the rear end), and can gather up some picture if theres enough interest
Count me as interested
Seconded.

Re: 1977 Corolla

Bailey, For me, no title is a no go unless I'm strictly buying a parts vehicle (or I want to take to time to try and re-title, not as easy as it used to be here in MO). Chris I knew the guy selling the car, turns out. I don't know what exactly he was trying to explain to me but all in all it cannot...

What are your thoughts on these things? I want to go look at it and maybe purchase it. Says it runs and drives. I'm just a sucker for old toyotas.

Re: Engine main wire/oil pressure wire connector

You may be able to fish out the rubber isolator on top of that connector and solder a new wire to the remaining strands. I've had to make a repair once like that, might have been on the same plug even.

Re: Weber 32/36 Question

I recently replaced my motor mounts and it gave the motor a considerable lift causing the short air filter to hit the hood. Lucky it was pliable enough to just smash it down rather than dent my hood up. Here's the washer I mentoned. 20190730_151614.jpg After the engine mount change: 20190730_151539....

Re: Weber 32/36 Question

Thst is the correct part number and the short filter will work, as long as your motor mounts are worn in. I preformed this swap a few years back and was quite excited to get all of the spiderweb of vacuum lines out of there. There is a bolt you need to get to plug the EGR port on the manifold if you...

Re: Rear Hatch light

Something on the other side of the housing is messed up, at least this was the case for me. I can't remember a whole lot, but I took it apart and soldered some wires to some bad connections and have some half ass led light strips on there. If need be, I can take it out again and look around and post...

Re: Situation... flooded float bowl & rough unsustainable idle after new pump/dizzy/starter

Sometime yesterday I watched a video on why return lines are of the utmost importance. If you are having trouble blowing through it, I would start there. He had a valve on the return line and closed it and it seems that you are having all the issues he had until he opened it. Check it out, I'm horri...
