Re: sporadic overheating?

Looks like I'm doing a new radiator. I'm having the exact same symptoms. I'm going to do the radiator, hoses, thermostat, belts, water pump all at the same time.

Thanks for the thread.

Re: Today's "server switching"

What do you mean by "my post" ? The reason there might be a few missing posts is because I made the backup last night, but didn't change the domain nameservers until I got into work this morning. What this means is that before 9am this morning tercel4wd.com still pointed to the OLD server, so any po...

Re: 3A versus 3A-C

From my understanding the real big difference between the 3A and 3A-C is simply the emissions requirements. That's why all the vacuum lines went away.

I dont know if the auto vs manual engines are any different (I dont see why they would be..in respect to the camshaft)

Re: Water crossings?

I had a bearing failure soon after a deep water crossing, so watch out for that.

The alternator is most likely cuz of the water, but maybe not.

Re: where to visit in WA and OR this summer?

The worst mistake you could possibly make is if you're in the Willamette Valley and you don't drive the alsea access highway and do some hiking. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Monroe,+Oregon&daddr=Monroe,+OR+97456+(Alsea+Falls+Recreational+Site)&hl=en&geocode=FZwtpAIdBKSm-Cn3KhtnDV...

Re: Speaker recomendations

Right now in the front I'm rocking the ..I believe 90w's I got from the junkyard with you Synth, along with 2 8" pioneer(I think?) speakers in individual boxes in my back seat. They're actually buckled into the center spot in the back. I run a Sony Xplode deck, which I use an auxiliary cord to play ...

There's a pic of the large window sticker.

Pic is from the last time I moved. I hope someone laughed at the snowman while we were driving.

Re: how did you first meet/start digging tercs?

I love reading all of these stories. My love of tercels came from youtube pretty much. I was bored at work when I ran a local gas station. I was raised in a very small town and we had a great gas station until this last year. I've always been a person who chooses his car for a reason. I started off ...
