Since I decided to upload Canadian Carib brochure to forum today, I decided to upload also two other minor brochures as a bonus. They feature first facelift 1984-1986 Carib white edition and second facelift Carib 1986-1988 white edition.

I promised to updload this brochure to this forum because I did find it lately. So here we go. Hopefully you will enjoy this one too. This brochure features a first facelift Carib from 1984. First facelift can be recognized from a different 4wd font as you may know already.

Is that cracked valve? I have rebuilt lately two engines and that reminds me of cracked valve.

Hi Simon, welcome to forum from my side too. I would be interested in two things. 1. That brown hand brake console and 2. That black cover in rear hatch, which says SR5. I will send you a private message too if you ship globally.

You are welcome. I understand. There is also a pin/key holding distributor reluctor.

Here is the comprarision of the gears. First distributor is from 1987 Carina II and second one is an European spec. Tercel 4wd distributor with points.

If you look carefully, you will see a pin holding Tercel distributor gear meanwhile Carina distributor has only bare gear with press fit.

Thank you! These engines were a big project. But I learned a lot about Toyotas A-series engines during these builds. It is very interesting that different heads bolt up so well between different Toyota blocks.
